New Teamsters Local 324 Members:

This Local Union holds quarterly “New Member Meetings” for new initiates. It’s important to come to these meetings as they provide valuable information about your benefits as a Teamster member. The Local’s Initiation Fees for new members is $350.00 and the Re-Initiation fees are $200.00. There is a mechanism under our Local bylaws, however, to help reduce these expenses:

“If a new member attends at least one quarterly initiation meeting within their first twelve (12) months, they shall be entitled to receive a refund/credit of one hundred dollars ($100.00) after providing proof of attendance and said refund/credit will be issued no later than thirty (30) days from the date of attendance….”

The refund applies if the total Initiation has been paid. If the total Initiation has not yet been paid, a $100.00 credit will be applied to the amount owed. The quarterly meeting dates for 2024 are as follows and will be held at the Local Hall in Salem, Oregon:

March 15, 2024 – Friday (9:00AM to 12:00PM)

June 5, 2024 – Wednesday (9:00AM to 12:00PM)

September 14, 2024 – Saturday (9:00AM to 12:00PM)

December 13, 2024 – Friday (9:00AM to 12:00PM)
