After graduating from McNary High School in Keizer, OR in 1983, Darrin Wilson joined the United States Air Force where he served in Combat Arms Training and Maintenance and achieved the level of E-4 Sergeant at the Leadership Academy in 1987. Darrin worked for a year managing a shooting range after the Air Force and then worked for Red Jordan Foods Delivery and Sales from 1988-1991.

Darrin started working at Food Services of America as a sales representative from 1991-1994 and then joined the Teamsters as a bargaining unit warehouse employee in 1994. Darrin became a certified EMT in 1996 and served his co-workers at Food Services of America as an elected Shop Steward from 2004 – 2024 serving as a member of the Union Bargaining Committee over multiple contracts.

Darrin was appointed to the Executive Board of Teamsters Local 324 to serve as the Recording Secretary in 2019 and continued holding that position through 2023 at which time he was hired as a full-time Business Agent effective January 1, 2024.
